The Observatory

Post from our latest trip up to Griffith Observatory. My favorite new piece from this outfit is the leather shorts. My new obsession is officially anything velvet and leather-. Anywho- I love this place... even if you see everything inside or nothing except the view from outside. Its peaceful and really puts things into perspective.

LALA

Perusing the streets of the Art District in Downtown LA, Eric and I decided it would be fun to shoot in front of LALA Gallery. They just opened this year and feature murals by street artist How & Nosm and Retna infront of the building. These pictures definitely don't do their work justice... if your in the neighborhood it'd be best to admire in person.

Endless Summer

So here we are, officially half way through September and there is still no sign of cold weather near. So making the most of the summer sun in some of my favorite comfy summer essentials. Everyone keeps saying they're "over" this heat but I'm savoring every moment while it lasts. I'm a California girl to the fullest... and a wuss in cold weather. Though I have started stalking up on some new boots for fall including these rad ones from Free People! There leather goods are always so good--

On Track

My last shoot with Eric is my favorite so far I think. I can't help but feel so lucky. Not in like a cheesy way, just feeling grateful things are going well. Not only with work, but getting to get out and shoot more in general. Though I am loving my new store at Urban and am doing alot more women's styling so that's awesome...  yup they just keep getting better.

Down by the River

So for any of you who know me or follow me you know that my blog up until this point has basically been a journal showcasing my personal shoot experimentation. Well this time around is my first time shooting with photographer Eric Bouvet. Not that I don't like shooting my own, but I've always wanted to be a stylist or designer for as long as I can remember. So naturally, I'm trying something new. We went on an excursion through the art district this week trying out new spots to shoot. I love it down there. Eric showed me around the neighborhood. Part of our little excursion took us down to the LA River where we shot this look.
